OK, we have liftoff.....

This is what I've been sent from Reed and Dave and I think we be missing a page or two so stay tuned. You may have to do a little mental page shuffling once we get them all up but hey< nothin' free is ever any good...

A note... Pg 31 has rows of specs, if you were to swing pg 31 up (like a garden gate) it matched up with the pictures on pg 30. So the first row of specs(at the top of pg 31) is for the GTR, 2nd row is the HD Sprint, then the Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and at the bottom the Yamaha.

If you look, all pages are marked. Just put them in sequence. Easier for me to say than to do. ??? There is a total of 19 different pages and they are all in order. Another words, no part of the article was rearranged, all pages would be in order. I can send them to others, if reguested. For some reason though Richard cannot open them and neither could I post them to the site. It was a 3hr. ordeal to scan them as it was! :'(

Here are some more! You will have to pay attention to the page numbers and jump around a little bit to keep things in order  :o

I still think we are missing a few pages but eventually we'll get them!!

I have been a M/C nut since '66(13 yrs. old). I kept all the magazines I bought from about '66 on. I have many road tests from magazines. There are many BS road tests, even on the smaller bikes such as 175 and the singles. As I get older and wish I still had some of the bikes I had or some of the bikes I wanted, it is fun to go through and read about them. Some bikes were not near as good as the road tests. You have to remember that magazines at the time needed money from the motorcycle companies to stay in buisness. Give a truly honest report, and the magazine would lose advertising money. Many of the magazines I have are truely "used".

Wow.... be careful what you ask for, I had no idea this article was so big!!!

So far, what we have is pages:

20
21
22
23
28
29
30
31
34
35
65
66
68
69
70

If that's right, we are done, if we are missing some, send me only the missing page(s).

Thanks to Dave and Steve for making this happen  ;)

And once again, these are not in order, you will have to flip around a little to get them sorted to read!

Thanks!

Tomo

Hey guys here is all the 6 pack article combined into one readable, searchable and printable PDF  located in the DOWNLOADS Magazine section
It's a great article even though the 350GTR was not their favorite machine, funny thing however the 350 GTR sure aged much better than any of the other bikes tested.

We  BSers always knew the GTR was the BEST

Thanks to Dave Katterheinrich for sending in the articles for all of us to enjoy. ;D
