My 350, the left carb just refuses to stop leaking. I have cleaned and cleaned. Tryed to adjust float.
Anyone know how to adjust the float correctly? //

Maybe a dumb question, but are you sure the float doesn't have a leak in it? I've had to solder a pinhole leak on both of my carb floats.

Are you sure the needle and seat are closing off the fuel supply when the float is lifted? It could be that your needle or the needle seat has worn or has been scratched where it can't shut off the fuel supply.

Carb float seems OK, no leaks I guess, there is no gas inside floats.
Maybe the needle is not stoping fuel flow, anyone know how to check this? ???
BTW the other carb after my cleaning is fine

You can have the float bowl off the carb. Attach a line so there is a source of fuel to the carb. Now, with gas available to the carb., does raising the float, stop the flow of gas going through the needle and seat? Now, also remember, that the float is floating in gas in the float bowl and does not have allot of upward pressure that your fingers can give it. If in doubt, just replace the needle and seat. I have not priced them lately, but chances are they are still rather inexpensive and the ones in the carb. are probably worn. Sometimes even running a wire through a seat, can leave enough of a hardly visible scratch, to make them leak.

Sometimes you can put metal polish on the needle, and spin it around on the seat to improve the fit. Try it out if that seems to be the issue.
