Speedometer Gasket 175HS ???

Is there a gasket between the speedometer and the headlight housing?  If so, does anyone have a part number for it.  I looked through the online parts manual several times and can't seem to see any illustrations for the headlight or speedometer.

One of those views was mine but since I've never owned a 175, I couldn't offer you much help.  

I did check out the parts manual and like you, didn't see anything on speedometer or gasket.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge on those models will provide you with the info you need soon.

If there is a gasket, maybe it comes with the speedometer and is not a separate part number?

yes there is a gasket and it did come with a new speedo from Richard it was not expensive .i could not find a part# either  i will measure up a old one for you it should not be hard to cut one out of rubber .but bare with me it is Christmas day here and soon we will start festivities .merry Christmas


outside diameter is 100mm, inside is 90mm and thickness is 4mm give or take the squish and is rubber

Like Coxy mentioned, I just made one out of some thin rubber I had lying around and it worked great until my speedo died.  Then when I ordered a new speedo from Richard, a new rubber gasket came with it.

i cant remember exactly how much it cost but it is way less than$100 maybe $40 but it is worth it a brand new speed0 etc
