BS 90 parts bike
« on: September 23, 2015, 04:02:35 PM »
I picked up a parts bike in central Kansas. Other than missing the rear wheel it is fairly intact.

I'd be interested in one, maybe two, right side covers for the 350.

Depending on cost, I would be interested in 2 or more, again pending cost. Thanks packrat!

If you do a search there has been much talk about doing these before. Cost seemed to be an issue plus they do turn up for sale.
Maybe you should consider Richards help in selling them.  You could sell them on ebay too. I think you should check with him to see what demand he sees
I know I bought one about 6 months ago. So I no longer need one, unless they low priced. Jeff McBrayer

I have a cat that I love. He is an awesome guy. I sing songs from Cats to him. TMI!! Anyway, there are definitely sources out there that could do this, but the key will be how many can we commit.
On a separate note, I had a 441 Victor as a very young guy. Very awesome bike. Would climb walls. Would love to have one now, but not sure I could ride it well in my old age. Oh well!
BTW, the side covers were made of Unobtainum. ;D

I would go for one if it doesn't cost more than my bike is worth. I will assume I am employed again by the time they would be made. Of course the new part would stand out just a bit on my GTR.

You can put me down for 2 or 3 (price dependant), don't forget guys even if you have a good right side cover, if the bike falls on the right side for whatever reason you're gonna need a new one. Probably the hardest item to get hold of for any restorer. Could also add chainguards and handelbars.

Wish this stuff was made of Don'tcarium, but not sure my addiction will ever be cured. One day at a a time, I guess. But seems to get worse day by day...lol

Brian, you have characterized my relationship with our cat perfectly. ;D ::) ;D

My problem when searching for parts is when the suppliers have too much Don'thavenium & Don'tcarrynium.... ;D
