looks like they did a great job in the picture. How do you think they did after seeing them closely? They did a real nice job on the muffler and frame brace. Made the bike pop out much better than before. Can't wait to get it all back together for the Memorial weekend car and bike show in Londonderry, NH!

Wow, looks like new! How did he match the paint? Did you give him a sample and he had to mix to get as close as possible? Do you think he could do the tank as well? Thats next. Many thanks for all your help, cant wait to get it back on.

Hap,
He said that was the best match he could get in the time he had, and there was no charge to you!
Now he will need more time if he does your tank etc.
Thanks.
Steve.

Hap, Steve has done a nice job with these bump sticks. I bet you can see the gleam on your tank already! A bit of color and chrome really gets a projects steam up doesn't it?   An old friends theory on restorations,(antique fire equipment), was to get the wheels done and painted first. He knew having something done that was small and could be finished quickly, gave the crews incentive. Keep up the good work guys.  Thanks, Mark.

sure does! The whole experience has been great. I have no mechanical experience whatsoever. I could see how it could become frustrating, but mine has been fun. From shaking out the rust in the gas tank and replacing lines, petcock, battery, stuck brakes, etc.., and then hearing it stutter to life after sitting and neglect for many many years put a huge smile on my face. I owe a lot of credit to Steve for cleaning out that nasty carb. Now its just a matter of more cleaning, painting, etc and making it look better. It runs great! Started it tonite after work even though i cant ride it yet just to hear it! I will post a new picture with the re-chromed muffler, frame brace and now the new refurbished shocks.
