g day all i am looking at buying the avons .is the right size tyre 19/3 or 19/3.25 they are on special at the moment cheers.

Coxy, check out this older thread. It lists the size of Avon tires I bought. They never got mounted and it will be longer now since the deer killing.

On my GTR i put a 325x19 front and a 350x19 rear Avon.
I do have a set of Bridgestone tires they are 325x19
And 325x19 rear, but i like a bigger tire on the back.
In my opinion it just looks better!!

thanks guy's the avons are around $180 each and they are selling the Chinese ones( i cant remember the name ) for $80 each  how does this compare with the price in the states.

yep thanks lee avons it is .here in oz we are flooded with cheap poor quality Chinese products this stuff is everywhere i do not know the quality of there tyres but recently there was a recall  of children's toys which had lead based paint and formaldehyde in cloths makes you think doesn't it
