what is the ugliest bike ever made
« on: September 08, 2011, 05:05:31 PM »
i have been thinking of buying a small bike to get to work and back on and seeing the price of postie bikes is ridiculous i thought back to a perfect bike for the job that i used to own a 1980ish mz 150 with a half a motor suspended in dead air it has to be one of the ugliest bikes ever made or maybe a vellocette  LE but beauty is in the eye of the beholder what do you folks think the ugliest bike ever created is .
maybe ugly is to harsh, unique.

If you're talking MZs, surely the ugliest ones were the late 1960s "TS" series with the heavyweight Earles forks and fixed headlamp (in an extension of the fuel tank in front of the headstock). So ugly theyre almost beautiful!

If you're talking moderns, how about being controversial - the Harley Evolution must qualify with its disc wheels, and perhaps the Yamaha V-Max??

That should stir things up - but then, Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder!

Sorry, Moonpup,

That bike isn't a COWasaki or a BULLtaco - I'm sure it's anUDDER make entirely.

I just stumbled across this on eBay UK.
I'd have to say it rates right up there in the "Ugly Department".
The former Iron Curtain producers seemed to be very efficient at creating some of the more homely appearing motorcycles ever.

I think that may be an early proto-type photo of a HD Fat Boy!  I can imagine "Arnold" mounted on top of that one.
