CORK - WASHERS
« on: September 09, 2010, 09:28:42 PM »
CORK-WASHERS.
When i pulled down the frame to be power coated i notice that the rear mudguard
Just bolted to the frame no rubber etc,So i have a snap on gasket making kit and
A roll of cork paper and i cut cork washers and put them between the frame and
The mudguard there are three bolts that hold the mudguard to the frame.Next
I looked at the front mudguard so again i use the cork washers between the mud
guard and the stays to cut out vibration,I also made a base for the rear tail light
unit,One thing to remember put a good ground cable from the tail light to a good
Ground to the frame.
Thanks.
Reed.

Good idea,Steve. Plastic washers are a nice fit too in some cases. They come in grey, white, black, and clear. Mark.

Steve  Great tips, perhaps one could use rubber washers, my local hardware stores has a great selection of them. Luke
