rear sprocket movement

While looking for a rattle on the GTR I noticed that the rear sprocket has at least an eighth of an inch of movement? Is that the way it's designed? I guess I'll check it for sure once I finally replace the tires.

On a ride several weeks ago I also noticed that the front axle collar (index #39 in parts manual) sometimes did a little rotation - would that be normal as well?

I would take the rear wheel off and check out the rear wheel damper part no 7319-9000 there are six.
Look for cracks in the rubber etc.I have replaced mine for that reason.
If that collar moves you need to tighten your front wheel axle nut.
