Steve,  he currently has these for sale at the same price. Looks like there'd be more involved in making these than our little vinyl bag, but like I said.... what do I know!  ;D

While searching eBay for a double ended screwdriver bit similar to the one I believe may have been part of the 350 tool kit (but that's another story  ;D ), I ran across a gentleman that mentioned he had a few nos BS tools.

We weren't able to make a deal on the tools, but out of the kindness of his heart, he sent me one of the inspection decals no charge! So finally I have one and can begin trying to get some replicas made. Will let ya'll know how that works out later........

Well... lookee here, seems to be 2 different sticker/decals were used on the tools.

The one I got today is round, gold tinted and looks like it's a paper based sticker while the other is oval, silver tinted and appears to be a foil material.

I may wait now and try to get one of the oval stickers before I proceed.  Any preferences?  ;D

Until now I had only seen the oval ones. I suggest you wait til you see some tools with the round label (unless you already have). The round one may be a generic inspection label.

Here's a set that sold recently on eBay. The round gold decals appear more on the kits with the light blue tool bags while the oval silver ones seem to be with the darker blue kits. Must be an early vs. later thing.

A little late to this thread with this picture but it is probably a pretty accurate representation of the color and grain of a tool bag from a 1971 GTR.

For those individuals that would like to restore their tool kit to like new status, you'll need some "Inspection Labels/Decals" to put on your tools after they're re-zinced.

Don't worry about them being listed as Kawasaki, they are the same as were used on our tools.

You can now purchase them here (12 decals to a set)......
