All of my Bridgestones came out of the barn in the below picture. It just so happens that an aerial photographer was flying over that as we were picking up a load. Notice the truck and large trailer. Some parts were in the shed we are backed up to but all the bikes were in the loft of the larger barn. I guess you would call that a barn find.

Yes all those little things that look like motorcycles lined up in rows are actually motorcycles lined up in rows.

I guess you could call it that. The outside bikes were pretty rough but there were still quite a few buildings around there with some decent bikes in them.

I never considered using aerial recon to locate old motor bikes.

Kevin,
That's a pretty impressive looking farm.
Multiple outbuildings, some quite large.
Large feedlot with well (formerly wind driven), two pictured silos for silage, livestock ramps loading area, etc.
The size of the house and the attached garage area says to me this was a very successful farm at one time.
The great looking condition of all those roofs on the outbuildings says that landowner was a very diligent producer and steward of resources.
His success in farming must have fueled a fetish for motorcycles by the looks of the ground cover.
Whether he was a collector or a hoarder might be debatable, but he definitely filled his property.
Sounds like you were a beneficiary of his skill at assembling great numbers of motorcycles.
Looks like there's lots of other things sitting around which we can't even determine or identify.
A very interesting pic.
Thanks for sharing this with us.

Regards,
Steve

Hey Scrambler,
The owner of Rerun motorcycles in Sheboygan last year said someone in WI might have a lead that would net him a 350 GTR. Are you the source he was refering to?
If my death is of natural causes, I don't think he'll be around long enough to have a chance at my GTR.

One of my best barn finds was my Porsche 911 SC.
It had been there for about three years i will never
Forget when we removed the top that smell, I worked
On the engine for about a Month and waiting
For parts one night about 11.30 it started smoked
Out the workshop.Today its a great car to drive in
The sun and the open road,
Thanks.
Steve.

Yep that would be me. I talked to him last summer at the Road America swap meet.

I just purchased 2 bridgestones about a week and half ago that had been sitting in a very large shed for over 20 years. I had honestly never heard of bridgestones before this. One came with a title that was issued in 1973. Both are running and driving now. I've been taking the one out for some field riding lately. Its still too cold for me to do a lot of riding but come spring I will have them both on the streets.

Zach,

Which models are they? Sounds like you found some that didn't need too much work.

They are 200cc bridgestones. One is a 71 the other is a 70. They really didn't need much work at all, fluids were already drained. I cleaned the tank and installed that sealant stuff and did a quick go through of the carbs. Only thing is the 71 needs is a petcock but they both run really well. I need to get some knee pads and air cleaner boots too but thats about it.

Sounds like a good find. Call Richard for parts, I am sure he can fix you up.
