Stamped Frames WTF?
« on: December 14, 2021, 01:04:46 PM »
So I am trying to buy a BS90 that is in rough shape and looks exactly like the 65 I have. Guy is trying to tell me his has a stamped frame so it is way more rare than a "normal" one. I have no idea what he is talking about ...I think the frames were all the same for the early BS's ( pre 66) were they not? He got a tip from a friend and now he thinks he has a retirement ticket...LOL

Hi Ya,

Attached a picture of a late 60's Honda ss50 pressed metal frame. Very same design as the BS 50/60's frames. Just could find a pic of one to share. He has nothing special.

The 175 for example is a tubular steel frame.
