Seat upholstery
« on: December 27, 2009, 01:46:38 PM »
Hey all, I have seen several threads about seat upholstery here, and just thought I'd chime in.  I've been doing upholstery for about 18 years and have done several motorcycles.  I haven't done my personal Bridgestone seat yet, but plan to sometime.  I'm not sure I could do "exact" replicas, but I can certainly come close.  If you are interested in having your seat done, or just have some questions, I'd be happy to help if I can.  Send me a message and we'll see what we can do.llarsen@stewireless.com

Perhaps put your message about seats in the LINKS section under subsection called Services Offered, as that link will stay around while
this message will drop off page with time

I wish I could find a company to purchase the chrome split rivets from at a reasonable price.

The rivets are approximately 1/2" diameter and when installed 1/2" in depth.

Does anyone have a source that have reasonable prices?

Thank you.

Randy

From an earlier thread - Mike Anderson tried some buttons from Siriusconinc for his 350 and reported:

Just wanted to report my results with the chrome buttons which I purchased from Siriusconinc. com
The buttons arrived promptly and were just right for the seats. Their buttons are well made and will hold up great. You need to use a washer on the backside because the shoulder above the split is a little more than the thickness of the seatpan and cover. Call me at (317)729-2418  or
e-mail at fleagle14@embarqmail.com if I can answer any questions for you.
