Title: Seat strap

Another question to put out there.
I see on restored bikes the seat strap goes behind the small hump.but the strap mounts are approx 50 mm further forward underneath causing my strap to buckle.any sugestions. Cheers

On restored bikes I see them either way, but I usually go with what is visible evidence from factory brochure photographs when originality is desired.....

I ended up behind similar to the sales brochure.but i had to bring the strap mounting points 70mm further forward to get it to sit right.cheers
