1971 Bridgestone RS Mach II 200 questions

I have a 1971 Bridgestone Mach II 200.  I just need a little knowledge as I am getting a bit confused why some bikes have chrome tanks.  My bike has a solid color tank(gold), not chrome.  What is the difference as models go.  What models have the chrome tank?

I believe my bike had the dual black stripes on the tank originally.  My fuel cap and tank emblems are checkered type.

My bike also has low pipes.  Per my serial number, I believe it said it was a Mach II.  Is it also a RS?  My bike looks just like the one pictured on the download parts catalogue which includes coverage of the  MII RS.

Lastly, where can I get new turn signals for this bike(nos type)  The parts manual doesn't show a part number?  I assume different brands used similar signals.  Thanks in advance for your insight.

The earlier 175 Dual Twin and 175 Hurricane Scrambler has chrome paneled tanks. The 200 which is based on the 175 has a completely painted tank.

There was a 200 RS and SS. The RS had low pipes and the SS had high pipes.

As far as I know none of the Bridgestones (except some of the early Homers and BS7's) had turn signals. They may have been added by the dealer or owner.

Guys , If memory serves me correctly.The first 200's, the 1969 models had chrome and paint fuel tanks ,just like the 175. The 1969, 200's had  a BS tank badge like a 175.  1970 model 200's had painted tank with BS tank badge. 1971 model has painted tank with checked flag tank badge.

Just thought i would chime in , on my 71 GTR too has a solid gold color tank with the black stripe and a checkered sticker on the gas cap
