My Father-in-law just gave me his all original, one owner, 1965 Bridgestone 90 Mountaineer. It is in very good condition, except for the chrome parts. The Japanese chrome back then was famous for poor quality. It still has both rear sprockets, luggage rack, solo seat. It is blue and chrome. He had added a nice home-made trailer hitch. He use to go moose hunting and carry the moose quarters out on a single snowmobile trailer. Any suggestions on my restoration will be appreciated. Re-chroming the gas tank and wheels, or better to buy new wheels? I might want to freshen the motor with a new piston and rings, head gasket, etc.
Glad for this web forum.
