Sorry to hear that Hap.

I am curious though, what is this "spring " you speak of? I just came in from the patio, dripping sweat after spending a few hours sanding carb covers in the 80 degree heat.  :o

Guy's, I feel your pain! I spent a good portion of my life in Montana & S. Dakota and I don't miss the cold one bit.  ;D

I love my NH home in the country, with its privacy, barn, and all the rugged riding trails out back for my ATV's. What I cant stand is the snow shoveling of sidewalks and decks. I dont know how I will be able to do it in a few years as I am getting older. I really dont want to sell my house but I do like the idea of a canal home in Galveston to spend my retirement fishing!

I'd love to have some of that snow to enjoy. It would be worth the shovelin to be able to ride around on a snowmobile. I know people get tired of it after awhile, but havin too much is better than havin none, cold or not.

yea snowmobiling is fun as you can see in the picture I use it for work as well! I lived in San Diego for a couple of years and you would have thinked I liked the weather (just about perfect every day) but I actually missed the seasons turning, especially Fall, which is absolutely beautiful in NH! Nothing beats taking a bike ride up to the White Mountains for the day just to leaf peep! I think if I moved South, I would miss the New England seasons- maple syrup, spring flowers bloomin, robins nesting, trout season opening, summer boating and fishing, foliage, winter sports, ice fishin, etc etc. kinda keeps things interesting and something to look forward to!

In reply to Moonpup,

"Spring" is that little curly thing that pings out of place when you are trying to reassemble a handlebar switch. And yes, it always disappear across the garage and "Spring is always too far away" when you come to look for it on the floor.
