Title: What year is my BS350?
Post by: erniegroen on August 27, 2020, 01:43:20 PM
Can anyone help me to see how old my BS 350 is? I have no title. The bike comes from Canada.
Frame number is NA104135, Engine number NA103625.
I've already looked at the Graham Weeks PDF so I know that the
bike is from 1970 or younger!
Thanks in advance, Ernie

The engine serial number would put it in September '67, the frame serial number in October '67. Check the tag on the frame next to the right rear shock. That's the clue to the actual assembly date, but it would have to be October or later.

Karl, thank you for your response. In a box with parts I found the original tag with serial number 21V04109. So does this mean that the bike is from October 1967?
Thanks, Ernie

I have 350GTR 21V04576
Frame# NA1-04596
Engine# NA1-04764
believed original

3625 engine number seems out of sync

Look here: https://bridgestonemotorcycleparts.com/index.php?topic=449.20

I read it as October 1967 manufacture, same as mine 21V04640.  Engine and frame number on Bridgestones seldom if ever match. They were serialized separately before mating on the assembly line. Glitches during manufacture or after installation resulted in breaks in the sequence.
