in place?  Will soaking them in carburetor cleaner hurt them?  Anyone have a good way to remove the sleeve without damaging them?

I think the resident Bridgestone Master Wrench, Steve Reed (reed), can likely help with your question.
I would await his reply, or even PM him with your concerns.

I would just use air and some carb cleaner in a can and if that does not workout give me a call i will help you out!

Just an update on the discussion.  I did contact Steve Reed and he highly reccommends NOT soaking the carburetors with these ceramic sleeves.  They can be damaged from this process.  He also recommends NOT trying to remove these sleeves.  They damage very easily, 9 out of 10 times will result in them breaking.  Thanks Steve Reed for all you valuable information.
