GTO crankshaft.
I just thought i would take a picture of a rebuilt GTO crankshaft with the new con rod kit from Richard.
And show you the old parts etc.
Thanks.
Steve.

Looks nice Reed.
Will this be the first engine to run with new con rods?

Very nice. I have been pondering a crank rebuild (last one was in 1974). Steve, do you have the fixturing and press or do you subcontract that to someone?

That is very, very nice! Too pretty to hide in a crankcase!
I have a tilt wheel for more headroom!

So are they standard shims from RC or does the crank builder supply them?

ziggy,
These are the original shim washers that we use, the crankshaft  had very low miles etc.
Thanks.
Steve.
