I have been surfing the web and found this site to help me get my latest motorcycle purchase back on the road.  It is a 1965 BS7D I bought off craigslist just last week.  I currently own a couple of Harleys and a Kawasaki Ninja but this is my first vintage 2 stroke.  The little BS7D is mostly complete and came with a clean and clear title.  The problem right now I have is it starts, idles great, but chokes out bad when accelerating.  I am pretty handy with 2 strokes as I have owned a few snowmobiles but after cleaning and trying to adjust the carb, it still runs pretty bad so I need some advice. 

Does anyone know where I can get a carb rebuild kit for these little bikes with a Mikuni single carb.  I am pretty sure I just have a fuel problem but for the life of me can not adjust it to make it perform any different.

hi i have a bs 90 did just the same when i bought it      had carb on carb off , then checked points,  no gap, set points runs spot on.
