I love the look of the off-road bikes of this era...especially these racers. The bike looks great. Well done!

Looks great. Was it ever raced? Any history?

Yes,
I got it from friends of the original owner. He got it when he was 15 yrs. old and raced it 3 times. It was in as raced condition when I got it. The original owner is still around just a little disoriented sometimes.
Thanks Mike

It looks like the elves have been busy.

Be sure to wear hearing protection when you start it up.

Thanks  Randy,
By the way, had good luck with the cables. As you can see everything clutch, brakes etc. hooked up. Motion pro made perfect copies and they are installed.

Got a few photos of the second racer going together. Front forks going together, swing arm and rear wheel installed. Looks like it will turn out like mine. Can't wait to get it together. Tried running mine again today, have some video to put on you tube. Will try to get them posted soon.

How much difference is there between the SR and GTR handle bars? Looking nice!

Racer bars are about 3 in. or a little more narrower than GTR and about  1 1/2 in. less rise. Thanks

Looking great Mike.

I noticed the go-kart in the picture.

When I was a little younger (about 14) I had a Fox kart with a Mac 7.
There use to be kart races a the Greene Race track. My cousin at a Dart
kart with a Mac 45. He always walked away from me on the track.

But it was a lot of fun.

Hi Randy,
I am into vintage karting, they are part of my addiction I guess. I raced for a kart shop in Ohio back in the 60's and 70's now we just do it for fun.
Thanks Mike
