Title: BS-7s first start
Post by: Irishrower on April 14, 2011, 06:49:29 PM
Finally got around to uploading the video of my first start up!  For those of you who don't know, I found this little guy in the trash outside my apartment rusty and missing a bunch of parts.  A crappy rattle can paint job applied on the sidewalk, hours and hours spent searching for parts and people who even knew what this thing was, and a bloody thumb later (see video) it works!  The fact that this little guy started right up is a much greater testament to the build quality and design of Bridgestones than to my limited wrenching skills.

Special thanks to Richard, Larry Young, and Certified Parts Corp!

You did a wonderful job, my hat goes off to you.

Really neat to see the little guy come back to life.  DG

Very nice! I had one of these in 1969 when I was 11 and totaly thrashed it on the trails, it was a 1965 model. I'm looking for one now to tool around on, but they're hard to find. Let me know if you come across another one. Brett
