I don't mean to bust your chops Stickman, but "rough shape" covers a whole lot of ground if you know what I mean.

I would need either a picture of said bike or at least a somewhat more detailed description of the condition issues in order to say whether $400 is fair or not.  ;D

BS 7 in rough shape for $400 is not too tempting to me.  It better be running well and complete for that price. 

"Rough shape" sounds scary.  Brings back bad memories!  Just an opinion though.
