I pay about $100/year for my RS 200 through Progressive.

I pay $82 a year for the GTR, there is a multi-motorcycle discount applied though.
I'm definitely over 25 and also married - which might affect rates.

thats so cheap what amount is the bike insured for .insurance here is expensive i don't know about my gtr but my triumph even though its a 750cc is $650 per year but that is covered for $15000 my old buell was covered for $18000 and that was $1750 per year my old xjr1300 $500 and was covered for $10000 i think insurance company's just randomly make it up as they go along

My bikes are only insured for liability (bodily injury and property damage and uninsured \ underinsured motorists). So if I am at fault for the accident - repairs to my bike come out of my own pocket.
The premiums for having full comprehensive coverage on these older bikes would probably equal the value of the bike in 2-3 years.

nearly all of my bikes over the years have had full comprehensive i thought that was a good idea especially back in the eighty's when i thought i was wayne gardner and it used to pay off on the damage side of things.   but now i think they are just basically a rip off after my buell was stolen my bike license was a different date to my car and had expired by 2days they refused to pay in the time i had the bike i had basically paid half the price of its worth so that bike really cost me around $25000 but that also was a different insurance company that  i used western qbe never again .i do want to insure my non runners but i am not sure how or who will do that.
