I rode a GS 450 from Arkansas to Virginia Beach and all along the east coast and back.  It was an experience that I will never forget, but that was around 15 years ago.

I rode my Honda Pacific Coast 800 last summer from NH to upstate NY in one day. It was just over 400 miles and a nice ride thru NH and Vermont but once I connected with the NY State Thruway BORING!!!!

It wasn't the longest mileage wise, but in another way it was absolutely the longest I ever took.  Back when I was a college student of 19 (41 years back) a friend of mine had wrecked his car over the weekend and the only way he had to get to class on Monday morning was his Honda 500 four.  It was mid-January, 5 below, windy with patches of ice on the road and a few minor drifts.  He lived 12 miles from campus and said he wasn't looking forward to the ride home.  Being 19 and more than a little brash I allowed as how it wasn't THAT bad and offered to ride it home for him and his girlfriend could take him in her car. Needless to say it was a very intense and cold ride which I will never do again.

in 1977 I rode my then almost new R90S BMW from Provo Utah to Mulege Mexico- about 1050 miles.
There were three of us, all on BMW's. We boarded a ferry that crossed the Baja Gulf to Guaymas.
The trip home was about 1250 miles, for a total of arounds 2300 miles. My youg butt must have been
made of iron.
I do what the little voices tell me to do

In 2002, 60 of us shipped our bikes from Provo UT to Boston Mass then rode to the revolutionary war sites ,light houses on the coast,The Hampton's then inland thru Vermont, New Hampshire,New York,The Adirondacks,Lake Placid,Palmyra(NY) Niagara Falls, Kirtland Ohio,Illinois,Omaha Neb and Back to Provo. We were gone 2 weeks, and had a great time.We split the group up during the day then got back together at night. Rode over 2000mi on my 1986 Yamaha Venture Royal.
Took my Goldwing Trike and followed US 91 last spring South to the Mexican Border the followed US 89 North back home to UT.Over 2000 mile in 10 days great trip. I love to ride

Happy TRAils/NSD
