All these photos are taken by Colin Johnson who was professional photographer lived in Chester, England.
Bridgestone GP team sent 3x EJ-R GP racer to England by air to attend isle of Mann T.T in 1966.....

What happened to Morishita the Bridgestone rider?

Hello.

It is still mystery of Japanese motorcycle racing history.
No one knows Morishita is still living or dead.

Someone say he made his company and succeed but it bankrupt later and he vanished from old friends of motorcycles.
Someone say he is taxi driver in Tokyo cause I always notice name card of taxi driver when I was in Taxi.

I want to meet with him in future for this missing link.

Kotaro, Thanks for the Morishita update. I had wondered if he had raced after crashing th BS 50cc in the Japanese Grand Prix. I thought he might have worked as a test rider. Now, He would be over 60 years old. How is your Jungle race team? Thanks, Paul

Thank you for your reply.
Morishita went to Kawasaki factory team after quitting Bridgestone in early of 1967.
Then he raced in Kawasaki (125cc) but it might be the last appearance for racing scene....
I will search mor and tell you.
