They were screws, not bolts. You can get the 5mm x .9 pitch screws here......

   Also available here in the UK. I usually buy a pack of 25mm length and cut them down if required.

  Apologies, I posted a bookmarked link above, which shows countersunk screws. Although stated as JIS, this may only refer to the screwhead pattern, they may have 0.8mm pitch threaads which are modern ISO standard.
  Here's the correct link which shows 5.0mm dia x 0.9mm pictch threads, these are the ones you want for the BS.

    Unfortunately, they only appear to have the 16mm length available at the moment. Supply chain problems ?.
