SAFETY FIRST.
« on: January 21, 2013, 08:33:02 PM »
Back to basics,
I just want to say something about safety, i go on about using caustic soda for cleaning exhausts or milkstone for fuel tanks.
Or just drilling grinding, put on eye protection, gloves, ear plugs, or a good set of boots just don't forget safety first.
Thanks.
Steve.

Thanks for that reminder Steve. I agree, always wear eye protection and sometimes this means not only safety glasses but also a face shield too. I find that keeping safety glasses and gloves hanging nearby in their place with my other tools keeps me using them more. If you have to hunt for them chances are you will ignore them to do a quick job. Earplugs are the same story. Make and keep a place for all your safety gear and use it every time you should, you will be glad you did.
