Please help me identify my new 350 project! (serial number confusion)

Hi guys I have read (and re-read) the Graham weeks article several times now.  I have a 350 GTR with the serial number 21 DO 5197. 
I am still unsure of the date of manufacture....

Help?

I'm reading the number to be 21 D 05197. According to the guide, that would make it an April 1968 bike.

Coxy, yes have already found over that amount of treasure onboard...
But what a mess...very rusty...fortunately the important stuff is aluminum...

Seein' as how mine doesn't even roll, it would be a MUCH better use...lol...(picture was taken at the sellers house...he has a line of bikes chained together...)...
