Know about a Montgomery Wards Champion?

I have located a Montgomery Wards Champion cycle, it looks like a Bridgestone 50 without oil injection, seems to be a early model,
painted fenders  Looks to be a "cheap" model.  The tank emblem is in poor condition, it is not the regular BS, it seems to have
some strange image.  Seat has CHAMPION on the back does any one know?

Anyone know anything about them?  I wan going to try to get it next weekend. Will post photos.
