Hello from Sacramento
« on: September 13, 2011, 04:53:00 PM »
Hi all from Sacramento CA. In 1969 I bought my first bike, a 1965 Bridgestone 50 from a serviceman stationed in Sacramento. Since there don't seem to be a lot of Bridgestones in Sacramento, I can only guess that he bought it in some exotic port and brought it to town when he was transferred here. From pictures I've seen lately, it appears to have been a Surfrider. I've decided to start a new hobby and try to find each of the bikes I've enjoyed most and I'm starting with the Bridgestone. I used it as a trail bike and totally roached it out, and had a great time doing it. If anyone knows where I can find a 1965ish 50 in need of some TLC, let me know. Brett

I see there is a Bridgestone 50cc on Ebay.  Color red.   You would have to ship it from NJ though.

Welcome to the forum. My dad was a bridgestone dealer in Rancho Cordova and Roseville from 1963 until 1975. I think back then there were several other dealers around here. I live in Orangevale now PM me if you need any thing or help with the bike when you get one.    Jimmy,90k
