Clutch Push Rod Ball Bearings
« on: October 05, 2012, 10:46:34 PM »
I am wondering if anyone else has run across two ball bearings for the clutch push rod for the 350?   I have one bearing that is on the clutch actuator end and one that is located between the long push rod and the short dowel. Looking at the 350 manual, supposed to have just one ball bearing (actuator end ). Is this perhaps a bearing added in ( not BS factory added ) between the push rod and dowel for more clutch adjustment?

I don't have the engine in the bike yet, so i am not able to actually say if it works better or what the outcome will be. I am still in the stage of putting the engine together yet, but upon disassembly there was the extra B.B. in there. I will make a post of what the outcome is when i get it that far....thanks!  bsforever

Lee,
I have tried this with the ball bearings by using 2 it takes all the slack out of the clutch cable so there was no play in the cable on the
Handle bar end and on the casing end, so even adjusting the clutch the push rod, so i went back to one bearing and set it up that way.
Thanks.
Steve.
