The grab rail arrived today so i had some time to put it on.
Went on easy and very nice chrome i like the look.

I added the grab rail and the reflectors to my GTR today.  I'm very pleased with the look and quality of the chrome.  It's never been real clear to me when or if these parts were standard for the GTR.  While mounting the grab rail it sure seems the seat contours are made to accommodate the part but I've never seen literature for aftermarket add-on parts.

Here in the U.S., both the grab rail and the front & rear reflectors were standard on the 1971 GTR & GTO. The grab rail itself was not standard on either bike before that.

The 1970 GTO had the reflectors, but as far as them being on GTR's that were earlier than 1971, I'll let the GTR experts chime in.  ;D

I think that's the first time I've seen (noticed?) a picture of the grab rail on a GTR ad.  Thanks for the info.  I learned something new and I appreciate the time you took to answer the post.
