Since there has been very little activity lately I thought I would post the progress of my
1966 Bridgestone 60 Sport restoration project.
Little by the little the 60 Sport is coming along. It now runs and operates as it should. Thanks
to Richard it has a new rear wheel and a new front rim. Putting spokes in the front wheel was
not as bad as I thought it would be. Richard also supplied me with nos handlebars and rear shocks.
They are on and all the controls are back in place. Someone had cut the horn and headlight wiring
so I had to solder all the wires.
The fuel tank, front fender stays, kick starter, and shifter are at Atlantic Coast Plating for chroming
and due back the beginning of 2019.
A new seat cover is due any day and soon I am tearing down the bike for painting.
When I am done I will probably have three times the money in it that it would sell for.
But once it is done it is heading for the Northeast Classic Car Museum here in Norwich, NY.
I will post some pictures once I get a little further along.
Hoping everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year and may
Santa bring you those hard to find Bridgestone parts you are looking for.
Regards
Randy
