starting reassembly of engine on gold unrestored gto

Cases back together, new rotary valves, crankshaft gearset timed. Engine looks pretty good with just a little washing with mineral spirits. Nice to work on a well taken care of bike that hasn't be junked out. Will try to get some pictures posted.

The last picture in that group is the engine before disassembly. The rest are after light cleaning. Will post more of the engine as it is finished and into the frame.

The bike is back together and up and running smoothly. A little clutch adjustment and it will be ready for a test ride. The weather is not fit for much right now. Hopefully it will not rain or snow this weekend and I can take a short ride. Will try to get a video to post and some pictures of it together.
