Steve

I think the 350 restoration with additional chrome of the fork legs and the small cover is great, looks classy, most likely
an area where BS saved a few yen, by not chroming them from the factory.

It would be simple job to replace those three parts with standard items, if bike is ever sold and the buyer wants too.

I will say it again:  I like it........

Great job on the restoration, I can not wait until we get a professional to take some photos, then the bike with all
its glamor will show through.

When we put the bike in shows or in a Museum, its display will introduce many new people to the world of Bridgestones

Wonderful work.

I won't argue with anybody about the beautiful first class job on this restoration! Steve does the best work I've seen. And I know you're proud of this one, Richard. I would be, too. Thanks for building this first class example and promoting Bridgestone the way you do. I wish I could afford to do all that to my bike, except maybe... :)

First class job all the way.  Even the AMCA couldn't deduct enough points for the few chrome extras to keep this bike from a fast trip to the winners circle. It just looks to good for even the most devout purist to argue with for very long.    Mark.

It all depends on what the owner wants, bit of bling here and there or as it came out of the factory.

I like 'original' because I show or have shown my bikes at the highest level and Steve knows this, hence the leg pulling about the extra chrome.

My vote goes to Factory original but it would really get boring if they all looked the same.  Whatever floats your boat. :)

Everybody is different and I think we all like it that way. Personally, I don't care if you chrome the whole thing or paint flames on the tank or just let the rust show. The restored ones are super nice and a little extra chrome dresses it up a bit. I'm not a purist, I just like the look of the stock fork legs better, shiny grey. :)

Hey Reed,

Are you set up to chrome plate or are you having these done by a plating shop? If it's a shop, would you recommend them?

Thanks,

Jim

The transformation has begun. Soon he will be eating hot dogs with ketchup. All his teeth will fall out and he will start drinking corn liquor from a mason jar. In another 10 years he will be unrecognizable.   Mark
