Description: I cleaned the clay, dirt, oil and gravel from the cases, it was 1/2" thick in places. Took two days of scraping and cleaning.

I soaked the cases with WD40, then scraped the crap off with a flat blade screw driver then applied WD40 again and used a small stiff brush to remove what was left, takes time.
I've heard putting the cases in the dishwasher gives good results but never tried it.
