Nice workshop clean and tidy and you can find anything.
And on the other pictures all you need is a bed down
There you have everything else.
Thanks.
Steve.   ;D

I can't believe that - you can NEVER have too many bikes! :D

Nice workshop set-up, though!

mine is a bit more modestest but i have a brewery of sorts and the 175 bike and parts room which is on the back burner+the heat source which keeps the cold at bay .the bench at the back my grand father made from a recycled church material in the 1930;s the bench on the side took a front end loader and a dolly to shift it,very heavy and the three bikes that call it home

This is the start of my new workshop. I chose doing a heavily reenforced wood floor because of 2 reasons. No taxes on a wood floor shop but you pay taxes on a concrete floor building. Also it's easier on the feet. :) I did concrete for my garage, my front porch and my sunroom but I'm gettin a little old to be pullin concrete. This was easier for me to do by myself, especially in this heat. Everybody is tellin me it's a dumb idea. I think it will be strong enough. The first Honda shop I worked as a mechanic was wood floor.  I'll just be happy to have a roof over my head and my bikes. I'll post more pictures as I go. 20 x 30 to start. Here are two mornin and afternoon pictures from yesterday

I kind of like the idea of a wood floor, for a motorcycle shop.  Not for cars but I think you will like it.
Where  do you live, I assume must be in a warm area, since I do not see foam under the floor itself.
It that the final floor or a subfloor? Jeff Bar

Thanks Jeff. I live in Alabama. My main concern is to keep the shop cool that's why I picked this shady spot. Only about 3 hours of direct sun. I haven't decided on the final flooring yet. I think I can still get some 3/4 heart pine tongue and groove out of an old cotton mill near here. I used double rim joists and a double girder up the middle along with 2 well supported 4x4 skids under the middle of the floor joists. It seems to be super solid. I'm still not plannin on parkin my Harley or Moto Guzzi in there, though I think it would be ok to run them up the middle and put them on a stand to work on em.

"Worlshop"  ???
I guess it's an Aussie slang thang.............
 ;)
I'll have to research that term............

Must be winter Down Under with the heater and gas tank.
Propane, I assume.

It's hotter and drier than Billy Hell here right now.
The corn crop is almost sure to fail locally.
Ugly economics ahead here in the upper Midwest.

Regards,
Steve
