Different Wheels

I need some lighter wheels for my project. Anyone know of anything out there?

You might try checking on Flea Bay for some 36 spoke (I think, you had better count yours) alloy rims, probably from Akront or the Jap company (I forget the name, someone help me...). Get some new spokes and build your own wheel. You could drill out the hubs to lighten it even more. Check out the rim on this racer but ignore the $2500 brake:

AhHa... I remembered the name: Takasago Rims. Here is a link to some, these are for dirt bikes I think but may fit your little 175. Takasago made most of the alloy rims for the big Jap manufacturers so it probably would be easy to find some in a salvage yard or swap meet.
