Got my cylinders back yesterday
« on: October 17, 2012, 01:09:28 PM »
I got my 350 cylinders back yesterday ,had them sent out to USCHROME (usnicom.com) in Wisconsin, they look great. I was fortunate enough to not have any scoring or gouges more than the .010 allowable for the replate, deeper than the .010 requires welding. I have not seen anyone on this site mention them, but i am happy with the nikasil replate they did. That was my last questionable bit i had left to have done before really feeling a comfort zone knowing i will be able to get the bike running. I still have a way to go, but now it is much more relaxed a feeling. I would also like to express a very big thank you to Richard Clark, Tomo, Ziggystardust , Scrambler, for parts and information. ( Ziggy ....before you start scratching your head asking what did you do???..lol..... let me say that you had some very nice pictures posted of your 350 engine which helped me out... no one else had that detailed pic posted like you did...so there it is  :) ) I took a picture of the cylinders, but without HD, not worth posting. Hope in the next few days i will have the engine back in the frame, and although not HD i can take some pics and post them.

Happy to help bsforever, if you or anyone else would like a large copy of an original picture as in the gallery only in high resolution for detail then just ask, I also have many more photos that were not uploaded that are similar, example below.

I would need your email address if you want any photos.
