RWGIBBONS' GTR
« on: May 09, 2012, 04:32:24 PM »
I've blown your picture of the GTR up as far as I can get it and from what I can tell Randy, this is a very nice bike.  Beautiful.  Was it possibly one of Larry's NOS bikes or have you restored it? Thanks, Mark.  (Please pass a hello on to Larry for me, I hope to catch up with you guys sometime this year).

This is a 350 I bought from a person in Idaho. I have done a few thing to it. But most
of the bike is original.

So........where is the pic???
People talk about this and that, and post no link or clue for the rest of us.
Drives me bonkers..........
Please always THINK to include EVERYONE in this discussion.
Please don't make us search high and low until hell freezes over to ...MAYBE......... find your reference.
Geeezz......help us out here.
Is it really that difficult???

Respectfully,
Steve

The day this thread started, I went to the Gallery, looked for "rwgibbon" and there it was.

So to answer your question ztnoo, "Is it really that difficult???", I'd have to say.......  not really!  ::)

In my experience of the GTR on normal roads, the answer to that question is !OUCH!! Maybe the stiffer position works better at high speed (80mph plus) or with a bulky passenger, but at normal speeds riden solo it seems far too hard.
