What are you guys using to lube the cables on your GTRs? Are you using just a standard grease gun (will that connect up to those little fittings in the cables?) Do you just keep pumping grease in there until it comes out the ends? Or was there some kind of special gun that they used to use?
I have cable lube and little after market deals that you put on the cable ends to lube them up but I thought it would be kinda cool to use the fittings built into the GTR cables. You don't see many cables with lube fittings built into them.

Super question... in the past, if I've been able to pull the cable out, I'll drench it with WD40 and clean with rag to get any rust and metal dust out of there and use something like lithium grease applied with a rag. That is in no way an approved method but it's just what I do and only if the cable can be removed from the housing. I can't remember if I've done that with my RS 200 though.

I generally use the grease fittings on the cables, just because they're there. ;D Other bikes, I use the aftermarket tool (original Yamaha accessory) that seals the cable and lets you squirt chain lube or whatever down the inside of the cable.
