There is a guy a couple hours from me that has a Bridgestone collection including an original unrestored 71 GTR. I took a bunch of pictures of it to help me put mine back together and noticed both front muffler mount bolts were missing. I mentioned it to him and he said there not there on purpose because it cuts down on the amount of engine vibration coming up into the frame. Anyone ever heard of this. When I get mine running I'm going to have to try it..........Rod
