Reed,I don't have an original battery for the 175/200. The battery from my sport 60 (submersible) is a GS mvi or mv1-6B. It is the same for the sport 50. Too short for the 90. It has one male-pos. and one female-neg. leads. Picture attached. Mark.

Yuasa's website has a "contact us" page, so I requested their battery specified for the 350. Got the answer the next morning (12N5.5-4B). I'm sure they would be happy to supply battery part numbers for any make/model, if someone could put together a listing of Bridgestone models, I suspect they would be happy to supply us with the appropriate battery number for each model. Is there anyone who has or could put together a list of all the BS model numbers?
Here's the Yuasa "contact us" address:

Maybe we will have to get it from them one model at a time if they won't won't respond to a list! They were very quick replying to my request on the 350. They apparently have the information readily available at least, maybe they just won't give it out all at once? Not sure why they wouldn't.

I have sent a email to them so we will see if this will work!

The BS-7/175/200/350 original specification was 12N5.5-4B, a configuration which is no longer available from anyone.
Use a 12N5.5-3B instead. The 12N5.5-3B is the same size as the -4B (5 5/16 X 2 13/32 X 5 3/16 ), but has the vent tube on the wrong end, which really won't hurt anything. I think Richard still had some NOS batteries, but you'd have to confirm that with him.
Do not mistakenly get a 12N5.5A-3B, which is a completely different size.
BTW, Bike Bandit usually has good prices for Yuasa batteries, and you can get a 10% discount if you're an AMA member.
http://www.bikebandit.com/yuasa-standard-battery-12n5-5-3b, (http://www.bikebandit.com/yuasa-standard-battery-12n5-5-3b,) currently $40, about double the price for a Bikemaster.

Do you know if that same model number applies for a BS-7s? Mine is definitely a 6V.

Anyone ever find a proper fit on a sealed gel type battery for the 350?
-
I think I will start on doing a battery guide for posting all the BS battery sizes.

Sam Great idea i will try to help out too. Lets do it for old and modern sizes Jeff

I agree, there always seems to be someone wanting a battery size for the smaller bikes
I think a posted guide that we could keep referring to would work of well

Anyone ever find a proper fit on a sealed gel type battery for the 350?
I put a YT5AL AGM battery from Batterystuff.com in mine back in December. $31 + shipping. It's a good fit, not the same as a gel type, but still sealed, maintenance free. I have some concern about the long-term effects as my 350 voltage regulator tends to overcharge the battery and that may not be good for an AGM (or gel) battery.
-
AGM is probably better than gel anyway, Karl. I just got one of the same, seems to be doing well.

Do you know if that same model number applies for a BS-7s? Mine is definitely a 6V.
The 12N5.5-3B fits the BS-7 electric start version. The non-electric start version is 6V. Sorry for the confusion.

Does anyone have the battery information for a BS7D. Thanks Gary
