Hi Coxy,
If you are refering to the amount of turns on the cable adjusting nut, I think it is probably random from bike to bike. It depends on how well the pump works and spring tension on the check valves. The initial starting point adjustment is described in the service manual. I usually start there and work up or down as needed. Just start out with an air bubble in your oil lines and make sure it is moving when the throttle is opened. I always start with oil mix in my fuel also on a new startup. Just good safety precaution. It always takes a little time for the oil to get thru the system from the pump. On another subject is there a method for getting a boomerang from over your way? I have always thought it would be a cool thing to hang on the wall. Our neighbors were over your way last year and their son brought one back and a digerydo also. Excuse the spelling not sure. He can play it what an amazing instrument.
Thanks Mike

Hi Steve,

Cool, hopefully Coxy can tell me how to get one. I think it would be a great display piece.
Thanks  Mike
