Crankshaft interchangeability

Anyone know for sure if the 175's and 200 crankshafts are the same?

Anyone swapped them for themselves and have first hand knowlege?

there is a thread somewhere on this site that went into something like this. if memory serves me correctly there is a difference in something between  year models 175 or 200 i cant remember what it may pay to do some back tracking

The very early 175 crankshafts are different.  Later 175 and all 200 crankshafts are the same.  The later crankshafts had a center bearing with a location hole and two lube holes in the outer race that weren't in the original.  The later crankshaft will fit early engines, the early crankshaft won't fit the later engines (it will, but you have to remove the locator pin from the crankcase).
