SR 175 Battery

Does anyone know what battery the SR 175 takes. The bike I'm working on has a 6V but the service manual (HS 175) takes a 12V. Is that just because it had lights? Thanks, John :

The SR parts list doesn't show any difference between it and the DT/HS, so should be the same 12V battery.

I'd agree with the previous comment. The Dual Twin used a 12N5-3B battery, but measure up the battery carrier and check that the Dual Twin Battery will physically fit before handing over the cash.

Thanks you guy's. It is a 12V and a total loss system to boot! Just had to order points and condensers from Richard.
