Hurdles

Looking for any ideas out there for the following:

1.  Can one good selenium rectifier be made out of several bad ones if the right components are functional?

2.  Is there an interchange paint color for "Imperial Gold" that my 1971 RS200 MII was painted with?

3.  Is there a sensible replacement bulb or entire light that would utilize improved candlepower using the same wattage?
