The Dual Twin is the street model. The Hurricane is a street scrambler. The Hurricane has a different seat, slightly different shape with a suede, non slip finish. The Hurricane has high mount muffler/exhaust pipes, with stingers/baffles that stick out from the main muffler/exhaust. Hurricanes have slightly higher handle bars with a welded cross brace. Hurricanes have a skidplate/bash plate that mounts beneath and slightly in front of the engine. Hurricanes have a slightly different front fender. I think the Hurricane front fender is shorter and may mount slightly higher than a Dual Twin fender. Hurricanes may have come with different tires than Dual Twins. I think Hurricanes came with one less tooth on the engine sprocket versus a Dual Twin. This lower gearing would allow the bike to perform better during backroad/off road excursions. The Hurricane has a tag/shield on the side panel designating it a Hurricane. A comparison of the parts list for each model would probably answer your question completey
